Celestial Media produced the virtual version of STEM Summit IV last October. It was a huge undertaking: a dozen sessions and power point presentations, numerous speeches, interviews with attendees (a suggestion made by Roberto Mighty). The planning, the actual videoing and post production were all handled expertly and professionally. It was a pleasure to work over time with Roberto and with his staff on the day of the event. I would be happy to work with Celestial Media again.

HISTORY
Celestial Media produced the online video virtual experience for STEM Summit IV: Accelerating Forward.

The annual Summit is created by the University of Massachusetts Donahue Institute. STEM is supported by Genzyme, Millipore, Microsoft, Intel, Raytheon, CISCO and other major organizations.

The Celestial team brought in a complete remote TV studio. 11 technicians included 7 Videographers; a Powerpoint Specialist and field technicians. After the Summit, over 20 hours of video and Powerpoint was edited at Celestial's studios.

The annual STEM Summit brings together hundreds of educators, community and business leaders and state and local-level policy makers. The ongoing STEM initiative prepares Massaschusets students for careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Celestial worked closely with UMass's IT department to implement the online Virtual Summit. To complete this project, Celestial captured, processed, edited and transcoded digital still images, Powerpoint presentations, digital video, animated graphics, digital audio and text across multiple platforms, transferring all elements to Adobe Flash for internet video streaming. We also created CD-ROM's and DVD's. Cool project.
