Celestial's pre-production effort included extensive background research on each of the distinguished individuals who appear in the film as witnesses to Dr. Folkman's life. Additional footage not used in the Folkman film has been archived for use by BSCP in future projects.

HISTORY
The late Judah Folkman was a legendary surgeon, scientist and humanitarian. Harvard Medical Schools' Biomedical Science Careers Program (BSCP) retained Celestial to create a memorial videofilm to be screened live before a large audience.

Since the final program would be projected on a giant screen, Producer/Director/Writer Roberto Mighty recommended using a digital High Definition (HD) filming format. He also arranged for the edited HD program to be transcoded for use on the web and on DVD's. The BSCP provided print and electronic materials from the Medical School, Children's Hospital, and many other sources.
