FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Why is the price so low? Because we'll schedule your work at times when our professional Videographers and Editors aren't busy shooting TV shows, films and corporate work.

2. Why is the price so high? Because our professional Videographers and Editors each have over fifteen years of experience, and they know just what to do to make your video look great. Your Uncle, Aunt, Brother, Dad, Mom, Sister or little Brother with a brand-new camcorder probably doesn't have the equipment or the expertise to make you look and sound your best.

3. What is a digital download? It's a way of selling digital text, music or video files online. iTunes Music is an example of a wildly successful digital download service. We can create a digital download PRODUCT out of your video.

4. How do I book one of your Videographers into a nightclub or concert venue? The biggest issue is permission. Please work it out with the club owner or concert venue manager so that our Videographer has permission to set up and film your performance. It will help if you tell them that we generally work with available light. Also, it's best if we can plug into the club's soundboard as well as use our own microphones. Our Videographer will discuss this when we book your job.

5. What is Online Video? Online Video is a catchall term that refers to video that can be streamed from the Web and viewed on desktop computers, laptop computers, and handheld mobile devices like mobile phones and PDA's. YouTube is currently the best known example of online video.

6. We've found comfortable, attractive rehearsal studios with free parking, snack/lounge areas and clean bathrooms (VERY important) where your live performance can be filmed.

7. Who is Celestial Media? Celestial Media is a TV/Video production company that's been in business since 1998. Our Founder created and produced "SoundChek!," the critically-acclaimed TV series on local bands that aired on WLVI TV 56. Since then, we've worked with musicians in Jazz, Rock, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Alt., Folk, Classical, Gospel, Modern, etc.

8. What is a Duplication House? A Duplication House is a company that specializes in making high-quality copies of DVD's. They use expensive, specialized equipment and strict quality control to make DVD's with on-disc full color printing, shrink-wrapped colorful boxes, and a range of options, including high-gloss or eco-friendly packaging. Duplication houses usually require quantity orders (in the hundreds or thousands of DVD dubs) so that you can pay low prices per copy.

9. What is Multicamera Coverage? Multicamera Coverage is filming a performance from a few angles (usually three) simultaneously so that the audience can get exciting, fast-paced views of the act. This is the totally professional look that you see on TV shows like Saturday Night Live and Jay Leno. Multicamera coverage requires a video Crew and a lot more equipment, including Videographers, a Director and at least one or two additional technicians. Multicamera Coverage also doesn't make sense without multi-mic coverage, which also requires a separate Sound Engineer and usually a Sound Assistant.

11. Will Celestial Media work with video we've shot ourselves? Sure. Assuming that there are no copyright issues and that you are satisfied with the quality of your home video, we'll do our best to work with footage you already have in the can.
