KiTCHEN MuSIC: New album cooks up groovin' standards + cooking videos

Singer/Guitarist's debut album features funky versions of romantic songs from the 40's and 50's. Special Guest: Saxophone legend Walter Beasley. Free companion video cooking series on the web.

Newton, MA: Roberto Mighty's debut album, "KiTCHEN MuSIC," features funky versions of romantic songs from the 40's and 50's over sensuous grooves, plus his jazzy singing and acoustic guitar playing. Roberto also has a companion cooking/music video series on www.robertomighty.com.

"When I was a kid, these are the kinds of tunes my Mom sang while she cooked," says Roberto. "I love these old standards, and now I sing them while I cook for my daughter.”

Fans of Michael Bublé, Harry Connick, Jr., Tony Bennet, George Benson and John Pizzarelli will recognize the songs on KiTCHEN MuSIC. Roberto's new, guitar-centered arrangements feature his vocals and a full band. Songs include "Misty," "Fly Me To The Moon," "Night and Day," "Autumn Leaves," "My Ship," "Here's That Rainy Day," "In The Wee Small Hours of The Morning," "All The Things You Are," "Skylark," and "My One And Only Love."

Except for Beasley on sax, Roberto performs all of the instruments and voices on KiTCHEN MuSIC, including six different guitars; keyboards; multiple vocal tracks, percussion and MIDI. He also produced, arranged, recorded and mixed the entire CD in his bedroom on a home computer. The process took two years.

KiTCHEN MuSIC is available now on iTunes, Amazon and CD Baby.
